Beautiful Christ

You are the only Son of God Almighty
Born out of our dearest Mother Mary
You came from a real blood of Royalty
Yet so humble and have only desired Your Father’s glory

You are a king and yet you humbly serve the people
The good Shepherd, the Light of the world
You came and offer yourself as a sacrifice
You died so we can have eternal life

The Bible said You live inside of me
What a blessing! I hope I am worthy
I want to feel You, I want to see You
Please guide me, help me what to do

I want to see more of You all day
I want to grow more like You everyday
I want to mirror Your image for everyone to see
Help me grow Your seed of goodness within me

I know You live in others too
Through them, let me respect and honor You
You are our strongest link to each other
The only One who can bring us to the Father

Please lead me, never allow me to go astray
Hold me close, never let me wander away
Let me be more like You this I pray

Help me create a beautiful image of You each day.
Oh Jesus, our savior, our Light
Be my thoughts, be my sight
Be my words and be my heart
Grow in me, my beautiful Christ.
